Flood Relief Electrical Supplies

GBE has partnered with Cetnaj to provide essential electrical supplies to contractors working in flood-affected areas.

These materials include basic switchboard components such as circuit breakers (CBs) and residual current breakers with overcurrent protection (RCBOs). These items are critical for restoring power to homes and businesses devastated by flooding.

The partnership was initiated after Master Electricians connected GBE with Clarence Valley Electrical. Clarence Valley Electrical, along with other local contractors, has been working tirelessly to help restore power in the community. Many of these contractors are offering their services free of charge, driven by a strong desire to support those in need. This dedication has been vital in getting power back to flood-stricken areas.

So far, contractors have successfully reconnected around 150 premises in Lismore and surrounding areas. Now, they are entering the second phase of rebuilding efforts in the Northern Rivers Area. In support of these efforts, GBE Group made a generous donation of electrical materials valued at $15,000. This significant contribution will help reduce the cost of restoring electrical installations in the affected areas. By using these donated materials, residents could save up to $500 on the cost of their rebuild.

The residents of the Northern Rivers region will reconnected to power in no time.
